My second take on an old water colour artwork I did as a contribution for a competition in my old school two years ago, so it’s kind of a re:draw. In contrast to the older version I changed the point of view, turning it into a bird’s perspective. Thanks to Yuumei’s city landscape tutorial, I managed to save some time and spent more time on the colouring part instead!
From having to face the giant buildings in my older version which I provided with a frog’s perspective, my oc Paranoid in the current picture is now facing the buildings from above instead, which gives it a different feeling, right?
It’s not as threatening as the previous version and it develops a feeling of hope, despite the numbers of enormous skyscrapers having increased compared to my older version.
I am currently in that period where I clearly dislike my art (a little bit more than what I normally do), but I think this one in particular turned out pretty decent? I hope you like it!
